State entities are required to acquire motor vehicles from the statewide contracts developed by the State Purchasing Division. However, vehicles not on statewide contract and vehicles with unique specifications not on contract will be purchased in accordance with state purchasing regulations with prior approval from the Office of Fleet Management and Office Planning and Budget.
In working with state agencies, the Office of Planning and Budget, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car, the Office of Fleet Management recognizes the need for different transportation options, detailed below. |

The Georgia Department of Administrative Services, through contracts with Enterprise Rent-a-Car, provides car rental services at substantial savings and convenience for state employees. Rentals are available at contract rates for official state business and at commercial rates for personal rentals. The Georgia Department of Administrative Services, through contracts with National Car Rental, provides out of state car rental services at substantial savings, and convenience for state employees. Rentals are available at contract rates for official state business, and at commercial rates for personal rentals. Simply provide Enterprise reservation desk with code 03A1534 to receive the state contract discounted rates.
