Governing Legislation |

O.C.G.A. (Official Code of Georgia) restricts only DOAS personnel and their family members from participating in surplus public sales. There is no restriction on other government (state or local) employees. Sales to the public are conducted through commercial internet service providers.
O.C.G.A. § 50-5-140 through § 50-5-146 The pertinent laws that govern Surplus Property are generally set forth in the Official Code of Georgia Annotated (O.C.G.A.).
