Supervisor and Manager Training
Under the Statewide Sexual Harassment Prevention Policy, supervisors and managers must complete sexual harassment prevention training on an annual basis.
Policy Requirements:
- New supervisors and managers with direct reports must complete training within thirty (30) days of hire or promotion to a supervisory or managerial position.
- All current supervisors and managers must complete the training within the Fiscal Year, from July 1st through June 30th of every Fiscal Year.
Course Description:
The Sexual Harassment Training for Supervisors and Managers is an online training course available through Team Georgia Learning, the DOAS Learning Management System (LMS). It is designed for supervisors and managers with direct reports and contains six modules that focus on identifying sexual harassment as defined by the Statewide Policy, preventing sexual harassment, and properly responding to allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation. It also stresses the importance of creating safe, respectful workplaces and environments for employees and others.
