Statewide Overtime Policy
Overtime policies for state employees are governed by the Office of Planning and Budget (OPB) and the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS). Questions about the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) should be directed to DOAS. Legal interpretations of FLSA are issued by our attorney general. Questions about the budget impact of overtime scheduling should be directed to OPB.
