GA@WORK Procurement
WHAT IS IT?
GA@WORK will replace the current PeopleSoft Human Capital Management and Finance systems with a modern, cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
The NextGen project, which is leading the GA@WORK implementation, will benefit State of Georgia entities, employees, suppliers and contractors.
HOW WILL IT AFFECT ME?
The tasks you complete today in the TeamWorks /PeopleSoft system will be completed in the GA@WORK system in the future. Some of the benefits of the new, cloud-based system include:

- Faster, user-friendly interfaces
- Real-time data analytics reporting
- Streamlined workflows
- Paperless approvals
WHEN WILL IT GO LIVE?
GA@WORK is being deployed in two waves. First is Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll functions in April 2025.
Finance and Procurement functions will follow in October 2025.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?
The GA@WORK system is currently being configured to optimize the business needs of 200+ state entities. As we get closer to the Go-Live dates, we will send more information and help you prepare and train for the transition to the new system. Stay tuned!
