Georgia Procurement Registry for Local Governments: Overview
The Georgia Procurement Registry (GPR) is a state-run website that lists bid opportunities from state and local government entities.
The registry is free to use for all local government entities. Suppliers and the public can also use it to learn about bid opportunities. This helps ensure transparency and encourages market competition. To ensure that all bids are publicly available, Georgia law requires that any bid or proposal that meets the following requirements must be posted to the GPR:
- Goods, services or both valued at $100k or more.
- Public works construction contracts subject to Chapter 91-36 of the Official Code of Georgia valued at $100K or more.
