GA Code
The Georgia General Assembly enacted two bills that affect how local governments post bids and proposals on the Georgia Procurement Registry (GPR).
House Bill 489 mandates the following:
- All bids valued at $10,000 or more must be posted on the GPR.
- All public works opportunities worth $100,000 or more also require posting on the GPR.
House Bill 322 enacts changes to the law governing posting to the GPR:
- Provides consistency in the minimum threshold requirement for posting on the GPR
- Clarifies the posting timeframe and types of purchases that must be posted. For a summary of these changes, please view Communications.
