The state of Georgia is committed to maintaining a drug and alcohol-free workplace. This effort is supported through substance abuse testing for applicants and employees. It’s administered through Vault Health Workforce Screening, a third party vendor. Pre-employment and random testing programs apply to positions engaged in safety-sensitive or high-risk work. Other testing programs are available when needed for:

  • Reasonable suspicion
  • Post-accident
  • Return-to-work
  • Follow-up testing
