Common Learning Modules in GA@WORK Learning
While individualized training modules will vary for learners depending on their work area, there exists a number of common learning modules that are readily available to learners. These modules include:
- Human Trafficking Awareness training: Updated in 2025 in conjunction with First Lady Marty Kemp, this training provides an overview of human trafficking and how employees can help prevent it. Learners will gain the knowledge needed to recognize warning signs and take action to support prevention efforts across Georgia.
- Sexual Harassment Prevention (SHP) training: This training provides employees with the information needed to identify, prevent, and properly report sexual harassment in the workplace. Covered agency employees are required to complete this course and acknowledge receipt of the Statewide Sexual Harassment Prevention Policy (unless an independent contractor waives the training, as mentioned in section VII(b) of the statewide policy). For definitions of “covered employee” or “agency”, see section V of the statewide policy.
- GA@WORK system training: This training series prepares employees to successfully navigate the new GA@WORK platform. Learners will be introduced to basic system navigation, foundational learning programs, role-based learning programs, and more.
