Year-End Reminders for Agency Sourcing, New Sourcing Tool, and More

The State Purchasing Division (SPD) will present critical updates concerning yearend agency sourcing activities and pertinent deadlines for the SPD Agency Sourcing team. Additionally, we will address specific approval requests relevant to the SPD Policy team. The SPD team will also detail the sourcing cutover dates for the transition to GA@WORK, our new sourcing tool and provide insights into what to expect as we approach the go-live date.

The meeting will cover the following agenda items:
Deadlines for requesting SPD Agency Sourcing team assistance, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and cooperative purchasing notices that exceed your Delegated Purchasing Authority (DPA), as well as sole-source requests requiring review
 
Sourcing cutover deadlines for solicitations within the Team Georgia Marketplace™ to transition to GA@WORK,
effective July 1, 2026 Contract amendments, extensions, or renewals requiring SPD prior approval. An overview of the GA@WORK Strategic Sourcing Tool, including its benefits and changes Training for the new GA@WORK Strategic Sourcing Tool.
