How to Get a Contract With the State
Becoming a supplier or vendor for the State of Georgia starts with online registration. Registration and business opportunities take place on Team Georgia Marketplace™, the state’s online procurement platform. Once registered, you can bid on opportunities to provide goods or services to state, local, or educational entities.
If you have never done business with the state, you will register as a sourcing bidder. Sourcing bidders provide goods or services but have never been awarded a contract by the State of Georgia.
Suppliers — sometimes referred to as vendors — have been awarded a contract by the State of Georgia. Once you’ve done business with the state, you are considered a supplier.
