This course will discuss what surplus property is, what can be done with property that is no longer needed, and what information is required for your agency to properly dispose of surplus assets.

This course is recommended for state employees who are new to their surplus role.

Surplus Property Program ‘Fills the Gap’ for Small Businesses

As a participant in the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Business Development 8(a) initiative, Taylor learned that he could access federal surplus personal property, including heavy equipment and other supplies, through the DOAS Surplus Property donation program.
