Supervisors and Managers

Supervisors and managers must complete sexual harassment prevention training every year.

Policy Requirements

  • New supervisors and managers with direct reports must complete training within 30 days of being hired or promoted to a supervisory or managerial position.
  • All current supervisors and managers must complete the training within the fiscal year (July 1st through June 30th).

Course Description

Sexual Harassment Training for Supervisors and Managers is designed for supervisors and managers with direct reports. It contains six modules that focus on identifying and preventing sexual harassment and properly responding to allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation. It also stresses the importance of creating safe, respectful environments for employees and others.

Register or Remove Supervisors and Managers

In the near future, an automated enrollment process will be in place during the FY27 training cycle. This enrollment process is one in which supervisors/managers will be automatically enrolled in the FY27 SHP training. Managers will be captured based on being a people manager in GA@WORK.

If an agency would like to enroll a manager who does not have direct reports, the employee’s manager can enroll that employee in training or ask the individual to self-enroll in the training.

Note that there is no review/validation process in the future state at this time. The only option is what is listed above (self-enrollment or the manager enrolls the employee).
